
Matthew Hodgson
Experience: 2.5 years working within the NHS across the Inpatient, Orthopaedic, and Musculoskeletal teams. Treating and rehabilitating a wide range of conditions from spinal/joint injuries, neurological disorders, and ACL rehab through to osteoarthritis, muscle tears and more general deconditioning.
6 months working within Pro-active alongside Private, DVA, Workcover and Medicare client bases
Hobbies: I am an avid trainer in the gym having over 8 years experience working towards mainly functional and hypertrophy goals. I have played tennis since the age of 6 representing my University 1st team and playing at County level. Recently, I have taken up indoor climbing and am appreciating a new challenge since moving to Australia!
Qualifications: BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Liverpool.

Level 3 Qualification in Sports Massage
Professional interest areas: My main area of interest is injury rehabilitation and return to sport. However, I utilise the principles required for return to higher level activity towards many common conditions and injuries as they are applicable at all levels!
About me: I recently moved to Australia from England where I have lived for most of my life. I enjoy travelling and sports and it's been very welcoming since coming here! I have a passion for helping people with reducing pain and increasing function in all areas of life while trying to make the process of improving fitness more enjoyable at the same time!
